INTRODUCTION TO MYOSKELETAL ALIGNMENT TECHNIQUE (mat)
Thursday 4th June at 7pm
Synopsis:
In this one-hour interactive session, Nate will introduce the key principles behind Myoskeletal Alignment Technique (MAT), a method developed by renowned educator Eric Dalton. Drawing on Dalton’s unique integration of osteopathic principles, movement science, and manual therapy, MAT offers a fresh lens through which to assess and treat common musculoskeletal issues.
We’ll explore the foundational concepts that underpin MAT and discuss how it fits into modern sports and clinical practice. He’ll also demonstrate three simple, effective techniques for the lower back, each one designed to be easy to apply and immediately useful in your own clinic. These tools aim to help you improve outcomes for your clients in the MAT way.
Whether you’re completely new to MAT or curious about how it complements your current approach, this session is designed to be practical, engaging, and relevant to your day-to-day work.
