Based in London, James is a writer, lecturer and bodyworker.

IIn recent years he has concentrated on blending movement with manual therapy finding new approaches to understanding how to apply movement and myofascial principles to bodywork.

In this two-day workshop we will cover the whole of the lower limb and pelvis. You will learn the principles behind working with active movement, how to apply techniques safely and effectively.

You will learn the functional connections between the hip and feet (probably even with an excursion to the shoulder as well), learn why and how sacroiliac joint stability may connect to foot mobility; how to work with deep quadriceps with no discomfort; the real function of the hamstrings; how to quickly scan the body for the areas of greatest interest and how to help retrain a client’s movement post-treatment for optimal effect.

We will balance flexors and extensors, internal and external rotators, and the ab/adductors of the hip to ensure fluid and efficient movement for our clients.
